Misdemeanors
Criminal Defense Attorney
Although misdemeanors are typically considered less serious offenses by some, they can carry with them serious penalties including possible incarceration and fines. It is important to have an attorney represent you in any criminal case, including misdemeanors. Having someone who is knowledgeable about the law and the procedural steps that law enforcement should be taking in investigating a case can prove to make or break a case.
Many people believe that they could not benefit from counsel on misdemeanor cases. This is just not true. An attorney has the knowledge and experience to notice inconsistencies in reports and has first hand experience dealing with the State to reach the best possible outcome in each individual case.
